This brand new mountain bike camp is being launched by Epic Bikeschool Leogang. Epic Bikeschool is run by Dutchmen. Founder Sjoerd Remmelink is a former World Cup Downhill racer and has more than earned his spurs as a coach. The head coach at this camp is none other than Twan Vervoort. Twan is a dyed-in-the-wool Park, Downhill and Enduro rider and leads the camp with the rest of our team. Epic stands for stoke, progression & safety and only goes for the best quality.
The Epic Bike Park Leogang has become one of Europe's most renowned Bikeparks and has something to offer for everyone, from beginner to professional. Legendary highlights include the Riders Playground - a 30,000 m² practice area, the ‘Hot Shots’, a pro-jumpline that offers plenty of airtime, and the UCI World Cup Line ‘Speedster’. Together with Saalbach and Hinterglemm, the park has more than 100 km of lines & trails, 10 cable cars on 7 mountains, all in one ticket. With free bikewash.
We are staying this week in Flat Tarlack; the best location, next to our biking school and right below the bike park. https://www.tarlack.at We are in the largest flats. These mega-apartments are great for chilling out after an intense park day and have a kitchen where our cook cooks anything you fancy! All-inclusive. Of course, there is your own secure bike storage. We strive for the highest quality in all areas. That starts with the best coaches and experienced guides, who know the various routes in Leogang and to perfection. But the flat, meals and fringe programme are also world-class.
Naturally, we split the groups into different levels. Thus, we have suitable routes for every riding level. From bikepark and singletrail beginners, to experienced bikepark freeriders and ambitious downhillers. Coming alone? Perfect! In no time you'll feel at ease among your new cycling friends. Do you have a different level to your buddy? No problem; you will then ride in a different group, but you will see each other in the morning, in the evening and perhaps also at lunchtime
With the most experienced groups we will even deeper into driving technique, train the ideal lines, demonstrate proper racing techniques and explain how to master even the most difficult trails. There are tips and tricks for freeriders on how to land jumps safely and make them look more stylish.
Of course, it is important here to the right mountain bike for it. If in doubt about your bike. Send us a message; we can tell you in detail whether it is suitable for this. Don't have a suitable bike of your own? No worries; we have plenty of good bikes for hire. Also, besides wearing the right shoes, gloves and goggles, a full-face helmet, knee pads and a body protector are necessary. You can hire these materials too.
Stoke, Progression and safety is the Motto!

What to expect
CHECK-IN at the Tarlack flat on Saturday 25 July, from 3pm to 6pm. After dinner, there will be an initial briefing on the programme and conditions. On Monday, participants will first be divided into the three categories: downhill, freeride & single trail and then divided into small, equal groups. You then go straight to the routes where you will be introduced to the group individually by your coach. Fun always comes first, we want you to ride the routes that suit you. Of course, we also aim for progression. Amidst the fantastic mountain scenery, there is also plenty of time to enjoy nature and take breaks in the huts.
Every lunchtime take a healthy and fortifying meal on the mountain or at The Bikeschool. Here we also have our Workshop Service Station and the Chill-Out Lounge. Here you will also get in between fresh fruit, drinks and bars of the guides and you can also take a break at any time. We also help you repair defects on your bike. Even after cycling, we have an exciting programme every day/evening. The apartment offers a large screen for bike movies, and there is also plenty of room for games and activities where you can win fun prizes. Check-out is by noon on Saturday, 1 August.
The minimum number of participants for this trip to go ahead is 12 people. A maximum of 18 people can participate.
Based on the registrations, we will make a plan for the round trip. We will make sure everyone who wants to participate gets to Leogang.

The level of a trip depends on your mastery of Fundamental MTB skills (blue) and Technique (red).
You will master the fundamentals of mountain biking if you know how to apply the following techniques with confidence: Basic, Attack and Flow stance, effective braking and at speed come turns as well as flat turns. Loose ground is no problem for you and you also ride over obstacles and ride rolling drops with confidence.
With flow techniques, you know how to maintain and create speed. You master fast turns and drop techniques (push and jump). You make line choices while riding, use the Pedal-kick and ride Off-Camber. You ride technical climbs and descents with sharp turns with confidence, as well as jumps and root passages.
Still having trouble choosing or are you still in doubt? We are happy to guide you to get the most out of your next MTB trip. To this end, we have developed a clear, constructive clinic programme. Of course, this includes the fundamental techniques that are so important that you really need to master them.
