You learn to maintain your balance in technical terrain and overcome obstacles.

Varied trail rides and exercises encourage you to take on new challenges. The Nauders Clinic Week offers you, as a mountain biker, a unique opportunity to take your skills to the next level in a safe environment tailored to your needs. Day program

Program overview: What to expect

Every day starts around 08:00 with a joint breakfast. After breakfast we will start working on the techniques of the day at our private skills park. After discussing the technique in the skills park it is time to start working on the trails with what we have learned. One of the lifts takes us to the starting location of the day. Lunch is enjoyed daily along the way. At each mountain station you will find cozy restaurants with local and classic specialties. Around 15:00/15:30 we will finish the lesson program, after which there is time to ride trails again and receive instructions on request. Around 16:00 we will return to the accommodation for an evaluation of the day.

In Italy and Austria, as in skiing, the difficulty levels of trails are indicated by colours:

  • Black: Very technical and steep
  • Red: Very challenging
  • Blue: Difficult
  • Green: Easy/ Flowtrail

Sunday: We arrive in Nauders on our own in the afternoon. Introduction and dinner will take place at a location in the village that is yet to be determined. Then we check in at the hotel or our accommodation.

Monday: The week starts at a relaxed pace. The morning is all about the basic skills and how to apply them on flow trails for maximum fun and control. Today we mainly ride the green trails to acclimatize to riding in the Alps.

Tuesday: We repeat the techniques of the previous day to warm up. On the program are turns, looking techniques and introduction to line choice, essential when riding technical Alpine trails. Today we explore green, blue and red trails.

Wednesday: Today we combine the techniques of the previous days and ride green, blue and red trails. The focus of the day is on off-camber and root passages. We also go to Italy to explore one of the longest and most amazing flow trails in the area (7km flow). In addition, the "endo turn", bunny hops and small jumps are on the program, fun and indispensable on the trails.

Thursday: On the program is the famous “bunker trail”, marked red but in our opinion more a black trail in Italy. Today we ride more distance with challenging enduro traverses, rock and root passages and breathtaking views along the way as a reward!

Friday: Today is all about questions: what do you still want to learn and which trail would you like to ride again? Fatigue can play a role, so the intensity can vary depending on the group dynamics. For those who want, there is the possibility to ride a black trail that requires good mastery of skills. There are several challenging trails in Nauders.

Saturday: Alas, the adventure is over! With a wealth of experiences, expanded skills and perhaps even new friendships, we return home. Around 09:00 we want to check out and leave, knowing that many have a long journey ahead of them.

Don't miss this chance to surpass yourself in the beautiful surroundings of Tyrol. Register today and get ready for an adventure that will take your mountain biking skills and passion to new heights.

Level check MTB Travel

The level of a trip depends on your mastery of Fundamental MTB skills (blue) and Technique (red).

Foundation

You will master the fundamentals of mountain biking if you know how to apply the following techniques with confidence: Basic, Attack and Flow stance, effective braking and at speed come turns as well as flat turns. Loose ground is no problem for you and you also ride over obstacles and ride rolling drops with confidence.

Technique (Flow and Obstacles)

With flow techniques, you know how to maintain and create speed. You master fast turns and drop techniques (push and jump). You make line choices while riding, use the Pedal-kick and ride Off-Camber. You ride technical climbs and descents with sharp turns with confidence, as well as jumps and root passages.

Still having trouble choosing or are you still in doubt? We are happy to guide you to get the most out of your next MTB trip. To this end, we have developed a clear, constructive clinic programme.
