Het niveau van een reis hangt samen met jouw beheersing van de Fundamentele MTB vaardigheden (blauw) en de Techniek (rood).
Je beheerst de fundamenten van het mountainbiken als je de volgende technieken met vertrouwen weet toe te passen: Basis-, Aanval- en Flowhouding, effectief remmen en op snelheid kom bochten én platte bochten. Losse ondergrond is geen probleem voor jou en ook rijdt je met vertrouwen over obstakels en rijdt je een rollende drop.
Met flow technieken weet jij snelheid te behouden én te maken. Snelle bochten heb jij onder controle net als de drop technieken (push en jump). Je maakt lijnkeuzes onder het rijden, gebruikt de Pedal-kick en rijdt Off-Camber. Technische klimmen en afdalingen met scherpe bochten rijdt je met vertrouwen net als sprongen en wortelpassages.
